She was a member of the Glamorgan Chapel Church in Wise. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Violet Bateman Holbrook; and a brother, Carles Holbrook. Surviving are her loving husband of 66 years, Ed Masters; daughter, Betty Masters Meade; two sons, Eddy Masters and wife Ruthie and Jimmy Masters and wife Suzanna; two granddaughters, Angela Thompson and husband Todd and Lora Shanna Meade; two great-grandsons, Grayson Meade and Braxton Meade; two brothers, Kedrick Holbrook and Harold Holbrook; three sisters, Hazel Lambert, Shirley Lambert and Sue Bolling; and a host of other relatives and friends. A special Thank You to Chaplain Ellie Novak-Scofield and Dr. Politzer and all the staff at Johnston Memorial Hospital. Funeral services for Bonnie Masters will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday, July 22, at the Sturgill Funeral Home chapel in Wise, with Pastor Greg Sergent officiating. Family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until time of services. Graveside committal services and burial will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, July 23, in the Masters family cemetery in Wise.
